Inspired by the Owens Valley, Eastern Sierra regions of California, and the natural world in general, this mosaic collection evokes, for me, adventure: past, present, future; real or imagined. Our striking deserts and the stark, dramatic terrain above the timberline, provide the medium. The desire to create something new to my eyes with asymmetrical balance and real texture, is the driving force behind these works. That I am an inveterate rockhound is telling.
